Music by Sergei Rachmaninoff performed at concert in Buenos Aires

The works of the great Russian composer Sergei Rachmaninoff and other classics were performed in the center of Buenos Aires. The National Symphony Orchestra and invited participants took to the stage on July, 7, the Russian House telegram channel reports.

The event brought together cultural figures, representatives of foreign diplomatic corps, classical music lovers of all ages. The concert also became a part of a live radio broadcast.

This year, many concerts, competitions, exhibitions dedicated to the 150th anniversary of Sergei Rachmaninoff have been held in different countries. In July, the Festival of Russian Classical Music opened in Umbria, Italy, with a program dedicated to Rachmaninoff.
