Macedonians protest against Russian diplomats' extradition

The campaign against expelling Russian diplomats was held the day before in the capital city of Macedonia. Around 50 people crowded at the Central Square, according to TASS. They held flags of Russia and Macedonia. They marched along the city streets up to the Russian embassy listening to the patriotic music.

According to organizers, they were going to convey a message to the Russian leader. The participants' letter addressed to Vladimir Putin explains that this decision was taken by Macedonian authorities, whereas and local population has nothing to do with it. The two countries have always had fraternal relations and nobody can eliminate these ties, the protestors believe.

Macedonia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has claimed the day before that one employee of the Russian Embassy is to be sent out of the country.

Note that, 11 European countries refused to support the UK in its decison to expel Russian diplomats.
