Reduction of Russia's permanent representatives to NATO will not stay unattended

28.03.2018

Reduction of the permanent representatives of the Russian Federation to NATO will not stay unattended, according to the Foreign Ministry of the Russian Federation, RIA Novosti informs.

"This NATO's trick has considerably narrowed down the opportunities for starting any dialogue between Moscow and the alliance, which is indispensable under the present complicated circumstances with the safety in Europe," Russian Foreign Ministry claimed.

Earlier 7 employees of the Permanent Representatives of the Russian Federation to NATO were reported to be induced to leave Brussels. 3 more will not get accreditation for the next term in the office. According to Jens Stoltenberg heading NATO, the Russian office has been cut down by 10 people – from 30 to 20 employees.

At this, NATO's chief assures that extradition of the diplomats will not effect the strategy of the alliance towards Russia. He reminds that the approach of the international organization can be described by two words – defense and security. Stoltenberg is also sure that Russia will not be excluded from the next session of NATO. In his words, preparation for the session is going on.
