A week to pack: Washington to expel 60 Russian diplomats

Washington decided to expel 60 Russian intelligence officers, IA Interfax reports. White House wants to close Russian Consulate in Seattle as well. Russian diplomats have to leave the country in a week.

14 countries of the European Union have made up their mind to expel 20 Russian diplomats. These measures are going to be taken is a response to the Skripal case.

As we reported earlier, the Skripal case turned out to be a center of discussion at the Summit of the European Union in Brussels. After a hot 5 hours discussion, it was decided that the EU recalls the head of the European Union Delegation in Russia Ambassador Markus Ederer to Russia for consultations.

Meanwhile, there is no lawful evidence against Russia provided. OPCW specialists have claimed that they need about a month to complete all researches and analysis on the Novichok nerve agent attack. Scotland Yard specialists are not jumping into conclusions and planning to investigate this case for several months. Nevertheless, it doesn't stop politicians to use the situation and proceed with more anti-Russian sanctions.
