The Russian delegation consisting of 72 sportsmen will head for Paralympics to PyeongChang, TASS reports. Their registration has been completed today. The final list comprises 29 athletes and 5 people more accompanying visually impaired people. All the rest are their attendants and officials.

The PyeongChang Paralympics will start in 8 days, however the International Paralympic Committee is still considering allowance of some other sportsmen from Russia.

Russians plan to perform in such disciplines as alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, snowboarding and wheelchair curling.

Note that at the end of January, the International Paralympic Committee prolonged the ban of Russian Paralympic Committee having allowed Russian sportsmen to perform. Around 30 people were admitted. They will compete in the status of neutral athletes under the Paralympic flag. Moreover, the fans are not allowed to have Russian flag at the tribunes.
