Christmas service in the Orthodox Cathedral of Paris attracted hundreds of parishioners

The Christmas service at the Orthodox Holy Trinity Cathedral, located in the center of Paris, attracted hundreds of believers. Participants in the service listened to a message from Metropolitan Nestor of Korsun and Western Europe, Patriarchal Exarch of Western Europe, TASS reports.

The Metropolitan congratulated the parishioners on the holiday of the ''coming of the Son of God into the world.'' The Holy Trinity Cathedral was erected on the territory of the Russian Spiritual and Cultural Orthodox Center, which appeared in Paris according to agreements between the leaders of the two states.

New Year's events for young Russian compatriots were held in France. In the city of Orne, a New Year party for children and a festival of cultures of the peoples of Russia were organized with the participation of creative bands. Festive events were prepared by local organizations.
