Program of Years of Culture of Russia and China kicks off in Amur region

The program of the Russian-Chinese Years of Culture started in Blagoveshchensk, Vesti - Amur Region reports. The concert brought together young Russian and Chinese performers. More than 200 people arrived from China to show their skills to their Russian peers and get acquainted with the national culture.

During the marathon of close cultural cooperation between the two countries, residents of the Amur region and Heilongjiang province will have the chance to attend many exciting events and interesting meetings.

The Russia-China Years of Culture will take place in 2024–2025. Russian President Vladimir Putin stressed that the program aims to further develop bilateral relations and expand ties in the cultural sphere.

According to Chinese President Xi Jinping, this large-scale project will make the friendly relations that bind the peoples of the two countries even stronger. He recalled that ties began many years ago and are passed on from generation to generation.
