Orchestra of Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory performed in Beijing

The concert of the Symphony Orchestra of the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory took place in Beijing, the telegram channel of the Russian Embassy in China reports.

Russian musicians took to the stage of the National Center for the Performing Arts of the Chinese capital. Vyacheslav Valeev took the place at the conductor's stand. The famous Russian virtuoso balalaika player Alexander Nikolaychuk also performed. He was joined by Zhao Cong, who played a traditional Chinese stringed musical instrument.

The performance of the orchestra was timed to coincide with the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and China. Among the audience were government officials, cultural figures, Russian diplomats and compatriots.
