Festival of Cultures of Peoples of Russia held in France

New Year's parties for young compatriots were held in Switzerland and nearby areas of France, the telegram channel of the Permanent Mission of Russia to the UN and other international organizations in Geneva reports.

In Orne, a children’s New Year party and a festival of cultures of the peoples of Russia  took place. The organizers were local associations Olympus Suisse and Romano Art.

Dance groups from Lausanne and Geneva, soloists, the Let’s Sing Together choir and the Nastroika music band performed for the audience.

Almost 9,000 compatriots living abroad received congratulations from Russian Father Frost on the eve of the New Year holidays. The main winter wizard visited Armenia, Belarus, Italy, France and other countries.
