Characters from Russian folk tales took part in a New Year's performance in Vietnam. It was organized for students of a school in the city of Thai Nguyen by participants of the Russian Teacher Abroad project. The ''Visiting a Fairy Tale'' play was included in the Russian Mobile School program.

The children learned about Baba Yaga and Kikimora, Father Frost and Snow Maiden. Schoolchildren threw snowballs, made the longest garland, decorated a Christmas tree, solved riddles, and danced in a circle. Then Father Frost gave everyone sweet gifts.

The kids said that they took part in the performance with great pleasure; they were interested to know how their peers in Russia celebrated the New Year.
