Moscow schoolchildren won international car model championship in China

Moscow schoolchildren won the international championship in highway-circuit cars, the website of Moscow mayor reports.

Teams from eleven countries competed for victory in Foshan. They included pilots aged 12 to 60 from Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Japan, Germany, Australia, Italy, UK, Ireland, Russia and China. 112 people with 140 models took to the start line. Medals were awarded in seven categories, young Muscovites won awards in six of them.

The team included students from Moscow children's technology parks with 15 homemade car models. They competed in all seven car model classes.

Children's and youth competitions between Russian and Chinese teams also took place.
