Compatriots in Beirut opened a New Year's fair

The New Year's fair, organized by the Rodina Association of Russian Compatriots, is taking place in Beirut, the telegram channel of the Rossotrudnichestvo representative office reports. It started at the Russian House site on Thursday, December, 28.

Masters of folk art invite guests to try sweets and traditional Russian treats, buy New Year's souvenirs and Christmas tree decorations. Master classes on making New Year's decorations have been prepared for children.

In December, charity concerts of the Russian Lyubava song choir were held in hospitals and children's centers in Beirut. The creative team performed songs in Russian and Arabic.

Russian diplomatic missions, organizations of compatriots, and creative groups of the Russian community abroad regularly hold charity events. The Russian Embassy in India hosted a children's charity fair, the proceeds from which went to support children and animals in need.
