Almost 50 young compatriots living in South Africa took part in the session of the Friendship camp, the telegram channel of the Moscow Compatriot House reports. They received a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in a Russian-speaking environment for five days.

The camp worked in Cape Town, it was organized by the Russian Children's Center.

The intensive program of the camp session combined creative and sports competitions. On the eve of the coming New Year, children wrote letters to Father Frost in Veliky Ustyug. The Winter Wizard answered them in a video message.

The Consulate General of Russia, together with teachers from the Friendship camp, held a competition dedicated to the Russian winter.
