Growing number of Jordanians want to study in Russia

Russian compatriots in Jordan summed up the results of their work in 2023, the telegram channel of the Moscow Compatriot House reports. The country conference of compatriots took place in Amman at the Russian House. The forum was held for the 14th time by the Coordination Council of Organizations of Russian Compatriots. The participants, together with the chairman of Elena Shestova, outlined plans for the next year.

The speakers highly appreciated the activities of the Russian community aimed at promoting the Russian language and popularizing Russian culture. Russian Ambassador Gleb Desyatnikov believes that the role of the Council in consolidating the Russian-speaking diaspora has become much larger. 

It was noted at the forum that the Russian language had become 3rd in popularity in Jordan, and the number of Jordanians wishing to receive education in Russia had increased by 20%.
