Students from Spain, Russia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan teamed up for an Environmental Week

20.11.2023

Students from Spain, Russia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan came together to communicate in Russian and address environmental issues in the Catalan city of Lerida on November, 11-18. Online meetings were held at the Antoshka School of the Regina Karpitskaya Association.

Organized by students studying Russian at the Center for Russian Language and Culture, the week included insights into how peers in different countries tackle environmental challenges.

Notably, 14-year-old Nazar Karpitsky from Grodno, Belarus, presented the Life-long Ecology project, emphasizing that ecology is not a trend but a life's purpose. He proposed creating items from wooden waste, organizing online exhibitions, and fostering international exchanges to symbolize care for Earth.
