The President of Slovakia, Zuzana Caputova, suggests taking a pause in the supply of military equipment to the Kyiv regime. In her opinion, this will be a sign of respect for the voters who supported Robert Fico’s party in the elections, RBC reports.

Early parliamentary elections took place in Slovakia last weekend. The Direction - Social Democracy party received the most votes. Almost 23% of voters supported it. The party is led by Robert Fico. He has already served as Prime Minister of Slovakia twice.

The politician promised that after his victory, Kyiv would not receive a single shell from Slovakia. Robert Fico believes that the war in Ukraine ''was started by fascist Ukrainians, and not by Russians.''

Slovakia planned to send aid to Ukraine, agreed with the government of Ludovit Odor. But the president called for waiting on this until the creation of a new ruling coalition.
