The arrest imposed on the building and land plot of the Rossotrudnichestvo representative office in Helsinki has been lifted, RIA Novosti reports. There are no grounds for seizure of property, said the head of the department for the collection of debts in Finland.

The Finnish authorities arrested the building and the land the day before, April, 19. The sanctions imposed by the European Union against Russia became the reason for this decision. The property belongs to Russia. Its area exceeds 3,300 square meters. Seven apartments in the capital of Finland were also arrested. Three apartments are located near the Russian House. Their area varies from 36 to 175 square meters.

Earlier, the Finnish authorities froze the bank accounts of the Rossotrudnichestvo representative office due to anti-Russian sanctions. The bank is prohibited from transferring and disbursing funds to anyone other than a bailiff.
