Russia sent mobile hospital and doctors to Syria

The mobile hospital of the Russian Ministry of Health will operate in Syria, TASS reports. It is meant to help earthquake victims.

The hospital will be delivered by a military aircraft. 15 tons of humanitarian cargo were also loaded on board. In particular, medicines, equipment, and essentials will be delivered to Syria. They were collected by the Ministry of Health together with Syrian diplomats.

The ministry said that a medical team would fly to Syria in the next few days. It will include doctors of various specialties and nursing staff - a total of 40 people.

Alexei Kuznetsov, assistant to the head of the Russian Ministry of Health, assured that the department is constantly in touch with Syrian colleagues and is always ready to help them.
