The Russian-Serbian cultural and tourism forum kicked off the day before, on December 15, in Belgrade, TASS reports.

According to Russian Ambassador to Serbia Alexander Botsan-Kharchenko, the large-scale forum is another proof that there is no stagnation or even regression in relations between the two countries. He thanked the audience for the love for Russian culture. The high-ranking diplomat recalled that Serbia refused to join the anti-Russian sanctions and remained committed to Russian-Serbian friendship.

The Serbian Ministry of Culture called the concert evidence of the important role that culture plays in the relationship between the two countries.

Russians performed Russian folk songs and dances. The audience greeted them with prolonged applause.

The program of the 3rd Russian-Serbian cultural and tourism forum, which will last from December 15 to 17, included concerts, round table discussions, as well as a conference with presentations of key projects of the two countries to promote cultural and tourism potential.
