The appeal of the Latvian citizens against Russophobia and the demolition of monuments has been submitted to the European Parliament. More than 10,000 people signed the petition, the Russian Union of Latvia party (RUL) reports on its telegram channel.

The signatures were handed over by Tatyana Zhdanok, representing Latvia in the European Parliament. She is sure that only the whole world can draw Europe's attention to the dangerous wave of Russophobia and the struggle against historical memory that is sweeping Latvia.

Residents of the Baltic Republic called on Europe to intervene in the situation and stop Russophobia and the fight against monuments. The campaign to collect signatures was also organized by the Historical Heritage Foundation.
