Ministry of Education: Russia is open to students from different countries

Russian universities are ready to accept students from different countries, the deputy head of the Ministry of Education and Science Natalya Bocharova assured at the forum of rectors of Russia and Japan. 

Natalya Bocharova noted that one can only welcome the interest shown by applicants from Japan to the Russian higher education.

The forum brought together rectors of leading Russian and Japanese universities. They were joined by statesmen and diplomats from both countries.

The Russian-Japanese scientific and student forums were also held. The participants raised the topics of medical education, sustainable development and the activities of the international student union. The main topic of the Rectors' Forum was the training of personnel for Russian-Japanese economic cooperation.
