Russian diplomats in the DPRK decided to tidy up the park surrounding the embassy building. In the past year, many of the old trees have been unable to withstand the onslaught of hurricane winds. Some of them died, others were strengthened with props. The embassy writes about it on its Facebook page.

To compensate for the damage, the most active environmentalists decided to organize a clean-up day. They purchased seedlings at their own expense and carried out a massive planting of trees. Now the park is decorated with magnolias, apple trees, pears. The Far Eastern pine, maple, lilac bushes and roses were added to them.

The embassy is confident that decades later, those who will work in the diplomatic mission will be able to admire the wonderful park and remember their predecessors.
