The rally dedicated to the anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War takes place in Israel, TASS reports. It brought together about two hundred people. They started early in the morning on Friday, May 15, in their cars and motorbikes. The route was laid across the country. Participants depart from Metula in the north of Israel, and finish in Eilat in the south.

According to the organizers, the tradition has existed for five years. The Victory Banner is carried across Israel in memory of the heroic ancestors, of those who defeated the Nazis. The number of participants is increasing from year to year. It is gratifying that among them there are those who do not yet know the Russian language but are making progress in learning it.

The convoy makes several stops on a 500-kilometer-long road from north to south of Israel, where more and more people are joining the race.

Columns of cars and motorcycles with photographs of war heroes and Victory flags, keeping the prescribed distance, drove this year through the streets of many Israeli cities, making stops to congratulate them. The largest shares of the Immortal Regiment in this format took place in Netanya, Haifa, Ashkelon, Rehovot and Bat Yam.
