Graduates of Russian universities in Beirut held football tournament dedicated to Victory Day

A friendly football match dedicated to Victory Day was held in Lebanon by the Association of Graduates of Soviet and Russian Universities with the support of the Russian Embassy in Lebanon. At the game in Beirut, the flags of Russia and Lebanon were raised, the Russian language sounded in the stands, the Russian House in Beirut telegram channel reports.

The football match brought together Russian compatriots living in Lebanon, as well as Russian diplomats and graduates of universities in Russia and the USSR. Many brought Russian and Lebanese flags to the game, chants in Russian were heard from the stands.

Football matches dedicated to Victory Day have been held in Beirut for over ten years, the event is held at one of the leading stadiums in the Lebanese capital. In addition to the exciting game, the audience was able to see the performance of the Angel dance studio.

An extensive program for people of all ages was prepared for the Victory Day in Lebanon. For example, young people could take part in the Stalingrad quest.
