Ivan Tsarevich and the Gray Wolf – 4 hit American movie theaters on the eve of January 5, according to TASS. For two weeks, it will be shown in fifteen states on more than three dozen screens.

The cartoon will be also screened in Canada.

According to the representative of the Kinosphere company Alexander Belyakov, the film is suitable for family viewing. He is sure that the more often young compatriots watch Russian films, the more actively they develop an interest in studying the Russian language, Russian culture and traditions.

Kinosphere has been collaborating with Russian-language schools and nursing homes in North America for some time now. Special cinema screenings are organized for schoolchildren, the kids get the maximum discount for the tickets. 

Separate screenings are also conducted for students studying Russian.

This year, Kinosphere plans to show two Russian films every month. After Ivan Tsarevich and the Gray Wolf – 4, a documentary about the famous ballerina Natalya Osipova will be released. 

Klim Shipenko's Slave, The Invasion by Fyodor Bondarchuk, Ice-2 by Zhora Kryzhovnikov, (Un) Ideal Man by Maryus Vaysberg will also be presented to the American viewers.

The screening of Beanpole by Kantemir Balagov for both Russian-speaking and English-speaking audiences will also take place. Russkiy Mir reported that this year the feature was included in the short list of Oscar nominees.
