Russian Cinema Days start in France, TASS reports. They will cover four cities of the country at once. The Russian Film Festival (RFF) film forum is organized by Roskino with the support of the Russian Ministry of Culture and the assistance of Russian diplomats.

Residents of Cannes will be the first to see the works of Russian directors; screenings for them will take place on October, 23-24. After this, the RFF will move to Villefranche-sur-Mer, from there, it will head to Menton. The last point of the festival route will be Biarritz, where the Days of Russian cinema will end on November, 5.

The festival program includes five films: Offseason by Alexander Hunt, Bullfinch by Boris Khlebnikov, Summer Ends Soon by Yana Skopina, A Similar Man by Semyon Serzin and the Sisters thriller by Ivan Petukhov.

The organizers recalled that among the residents of France there are many fans of the Russian arthouse cinema. There is no doubt that the festival attracts great interest.

The RFF took place for the first time in 2020. Over the past years, it has introduced Russian cinema to almost nine million people in more than 30 countries. Film screenings are held both online and offline.
