Performers from China will join the participants of the Chekhov International Theater Festival, the minister recalled. In early June, the Symphony Orchestra of the Mariinsky Theater will perform in China. The concert of the famous creative team will take place at the Great Wall of China. The place at the conductor's stand will be taken by maestro Gergiev.
The Days of Russian Cinema in China are scheduled for July. They will take place online. And residents of Beijing, Suzhou and Heihe will see the work of Russian filmmakers in cinemas in August.
Last year, representatives of China took part in the International Ballet Competition and the Rachmaninov International Competition for Pianists, Composers and Conductors.
