Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump scheduled the meeting, TASS reports. Russian and American leaders will hold talks at the G-20 summit. It will be held in the Japanese city of Osaka. The presidents will meet on Friday, June 28.

According to Presidential Aide Yury Ushakov, the conversation will take place in the afternoon. It will take about an hour. He explained that the site was chosen by the American side. Leaders of the two countries will determine the topic for conversatiom themselves.

It should be recalled that last year’s G20 summit, which was held in Buenos Aires, was also supposed to become the venue for two presidents to meet, but the White House host unexpectedly canceled it.

As Russkiy Mir reported, Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump talked last fall in Paris, where both took part in celebrations marking the centenary of the end of the First World War.

One of the most significant political events of the past year was the negotiations of the presidents of the United States and Russia, which took place in Helsinki on July 16. The summit was the first full-length meeting of Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump.
