No Man Left Behind international action has been launched, Rossiyskoe Obrazovanie website reports. It is conducted by Russian Military Historical Society (RVIO). An interactive map is created as part of the action. Monuments to Soviet soldiers, war graves, memorials and other memorial sites are marked on it.

According to RVIO representative Irina Kaznacheyeva, to date, about 12 000 marks have already been mapped. Ten thousand of them are on Russian territory. But at the same time the map is being actively complemented by foreign objects.

Using the map, you can share information. RVIO clarified that it has become a kind of patriotic social network. Its participants are people who strive to preserve objects of historical memory and cultural heritage. The number of caring people is constantly increasing, Kaznacheyeva assured.

Note, a monument to Soviet soldiers in Beilrode, Germany was opened after restoration within the frameworks of the action.

The monument was installed in the mid-1970s, when they celebrated the 13th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. It is a T-34 tank. To date, only three such monuments have been preserved in Germany. All the rest were dismantled in the 90s.

It should be recalled that Russian specialists were engaged in the restoration. The project was initiated by Volgograd Branch of Russian Military Historical Society and the Heritage military history museum.
