Russia is going to insist on London’s providing the evidence of its involvement into the incident which happened in the British city of Amesbury, according to the statement made by the Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the OPCW Alexander Shulgin, RIA Novosti informs.
Russian representative has emphasized that the British authorities did not make aware OPCW of the case of poisoning with the nerve agent. Nevertheless, in his words, Moscow proposed London its assistance in the course of investigation of this case. However, the UK has arrogantly refused the assistance proposed by Russia.
It is quite possible, the Russian diplomat added, that the poisoning might be related to the FIFA World Cup. Besides, a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and American leader Donald Trump is to take place pretty soon.
It is tempting to think that everything was plotted in order to aggravate the situation at the international arena and hamper the Russia’s reputation as well as jeopardize its relations with other countries.
