Exhibition of our Russian artist Valery Koshlyakov takes place In the French manor located in Val-d'Oise near Paris. The artist says that he creats not the pictures but frescoes, hence the castle of the 19th century is well-suited for the demonstration of his tempera pieces. Koshlyakov's artworks participate in New Frescoes in the Old Castle exhibition, L'Observatoire Russe reports.

Castle in the Frankoville Manor is in serious decline, but it didn't stop Valery to place his artworks there and make old castle's walls part of the interior. “These works can't be shown in gallery, its walls erase everything that's around,” shared the artist. The idea of the exhibit is to show the art destruction, when artist is replaced with art manager of the new generation.

"Frescoes don't have frames and borders, one story gradually morphs into another, so the dialog with the audience prolongs,” says Valery Koshlyakov.

Exposition is open for visit on the third and forth weekend of June from 12 to 7 pm.
