More than 38 million viewers from 143 countries watched the broadcasts of the 12th inter-regional festival of Slavic art, the Russian Field, which took place in the Moscow Kolomenskoye Museum-Reserve. 225,000 people from dozens of regions of Russia, as well as from Belarus and Uzbekistan, became guests of the two-day event.

According to the organizers, residents of China, the USA, Germany, France, Great Britain, Ukraine, Singapore and many other countries watched live broadcasts from the festival venues. The main themes of the Russian Field were traditional values and patriotism.

The festival program was filled with exciting events and world records. One of the six achievements was a bast shoe more than two meters long, hand-woven by the Smolensk master Vladimir Vostrikov.

The festival also included a carnival of girls in folk costumes, concerts of patriotic song and dance, performances by folklore groups and popular performers.
