Members of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia became participants in the plein air in Cyprus, which takes place as part of the City and Man. Russia - Cyprus international project. As part of the visit, Russian artists work in the historical places of the island and meet with Cypriot colleagues, the Russian House in Cyprus telegram channel reports.

The project was launched last weekend, the open air will last until June, 26. In the first days, Russian artists visited the picturesque places of Cyprus, the monastery and met with famous Cypriot artists Christos Fukaros and Mariam Sukhanova-Fukara, who studied at the Moscow Surikov Art Institute. Colleagues talked in the workshop of Cypriot masters, examined their works and discussed creative projects that are being implemented in Russia and Cyprus.

The City and Man. Russia-Cyprus project is aimed at strengthening creative ties between the two countries and getting the peoples in the two countries to know the sights of Russia and Cyprus better. The project is implemented with the support of the Cypriot Embassy in Russia and the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Nicosia.
