The Russian-Chinese Fair of Culture and Art  will be held this summer simultaneously in Blagoveshchensk and Heihe, located on different banks of the Amur, TASS reports.

The Tourist Information Center of the Amur Region noted that the border regions of Russia and China hold many joint events in the field of culture.

In recent years, the coronavirus pandemic has made adjustments to the festival. Last year, the start of the festival was shifted, and the events were held online. Last winter, the parties held the International Winter Sports Festival on the banks of the Amur.

In May, Blagoveshchensk is preparing to open the international exhibition Amurexpoforum aimed at developing cooperation between the two states. The event took place for the 1st time more than 30 years ago; last year it brought together over 150 Russian and Chinese companies.
