Ombudsmen to visit imprisoned Russian journalists in Ukraine after Russian and Ukraine leaders' phone conversation

During the phone conversation with Petro Poroshenko Vladimir Putin demanded to release from Ukrainian jail Russian journalists. As a result, the parties agreed to let public advocates to visit detainees, TASS reports.  

In the framework of the official visit to at the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation summit, Petro Poroshenko has initiated the dialog. According to the Kremlin press service, both leaders agreed that ombudsmen will visit Russian citizens in Ukraine as well as Ukrainian citizens in Russia.

Let us remember, RIA Novosti-Ukraine Editor-in-Chief Kirill Vyshinsky was arrested in Kiev last month on treason charges.
