The biggest Immortal Regiment parade to be held in Manhattan

The Immortal Regiment action will take place in two dozens US cities in the coming days, TASS informs. About 6 thousand people to participate in actions in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Washington and Miami. Kansas City, Birmingham, Houston, Vancouver and Phoenix will join action for the first time. 

Usually people from neighbouring areas come to participate in the Immortal Regiment action. 

According to the Head of the Russian Youth of America association Igor Kochan, the largest action to be conducted in New York. Nationals from the former Soviet Union, locals and war veterans will participate. 

The procession will start at the bank of Hudson River, heading to the The World War II East Coast Memorial  in Battery Park, in front of the Statue of Liberty.

Organizers mark growing interest of American peoplein this action. This year Chinese community will join the parade for the first time in its history. 

In the most US cities parades are organized by Russian Americans. It's worth mentioning that local authorities eagerly cooperate with Russian community.
