The Immortal Regiment went through Manila, TASS writes. Like last year, the memorial campaign was held as a motor rally. According to the press attache of the Russian Embassy in the Philippines, Nina Prakapovich, diplomats and members of their families, Russian compatriots living in the country, took part in it.

Rector of the Russian Orthodox Church parish, Father Alexy, served a memorial service on the territory of the embassy. Everyone could attach a photo of their hero to the stand of the Immortal Regiment.

In Bethlehem, the procession of the Immortal Regiment attracted about 300 participants who arrived from different Palestinian cities.

Patriotic events dedicated to the 78th anniversary of the Victory took place in Cambodia. Employees of the Russian diplomatic mission, headed by Ambassador Anatoly Borovik, teachers and students of the school at the embassy, compatriots, representatives of the Association of Cambodian Graduates of Soviet and Russian Universities became participants in the rally. They lit candles in memory of the dead, laid flowers at the obelisk to the Fallen Warriors installed on the mission grounds, and held a procession of the Immortal Regiment. The day before, a Memory garden was planted on the territory of the embassy.

The campaign was also held in Uruguay. About 40 diplomats and compatriots gathered at the Russian Embassy in Montevideo. The head of the Russian diplomatic mission Andrei Budaev recalled the importance and significance of the holiday for the Russian people. It is still difficult to find a family that has not been touched by the flames of war, he stressed. According to him, it is important to preserve the memory of the tragedy so that it never happens again.
