European Russian Forum started in Brussels

pixabay.com11th European Russian Forum started in European Parliament, Brussels, RIA Novosti reports. European Russian Alliance traditionally organizes the event. Politics and experts in politics from different countries gathered to discuss the main topic “EU 2017 and Russian Revolution 1917: lessons not learned well”.

According to Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov, precise analytics of the past allows avoid mistakes made 100 years ago in the future. The Minister is sure that the forum has become a good tradition, and it plays very important role in development and strengthening inter-social dialog between Russia and Europe.

“In current uneasy situation on our continent such efforts, as maintaining confidence, stability and understanding between peoples, combating prejudice and stereotypes, and at last, recreating mutually respectful collaboration between Russia and European Union, become especially important,» - noted Lavrov.
