Russian Seasons concert series come back to Belgium, TASS reports. Russian culture festival that had to cover France, Belgium and Luxembourg was prevented by the Covid restrictions last year.

From September 2, the State Academic Capella of St. Petersburg will start it's tour in Belgium. The first concert will take place in one of the Brussels cathedrals, while the next performance will take place in Kortrijk. Other concerts are scheduled in Ostend and Liege. Rachmaninov, Sviridov, Bortnyansky, as well as Russian sacred music to be performed.

Let us remember earlier this June the famous Brussels statue of Manneken Pis was dressed with the costume of the Russian guardsman of the era of Peter the Great. The symbol of the Belgian capital, was adorned with breeches and a navy jacket with red cuffs& and complemented by a tricorn hat. This event was timed to coincide with the Day of Russia and was included in the large-scale Russian Seasons festival program. The participants were joined by representatives of the city authorities and the Ambassador of the Russian Federation Alexander Tokovinin. The ceremony was attended by residents of Brussels and tourists.
