Young singer from Russia Tanya Mezhentseva has become the 7th at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, RIA Novosti reports. She got 124 points. The final round of the competition took place in Paris.

11-year-old girl Mezhentseva already took part in the contest two years ago in a duet with Denberel Oorzhak. This time the girl prepared a solo song Mon Ami.

Mezhentseva beat 11 competitors in the national qualifying competition. The competition was held by the Igor Krutoy Academy. For several years now, it has been the exclusive organizer of the qualifying round of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Russia.

According to the girl, she felt a huge responsibility because she represented a large country.

The first place was taken by singer Malena from Armenia, followed by Sarah James from Poland. The top three was closed by the performer from France Enzo.

In total, young singers from 19 countries took part in the final of the contest.
