Ksenia Petrova from Russia wins World Archery Championships

pixabay.comKsenia Petrova has won the title of the world champion on classic archery, TASS reports. She has taken the first place at the championships held in Mexican capital.

At the last final set, she left behind the winner of the Olympic Games from South Korea Chan Hye Jin with the score 6:4 in Ksenia’s favor.

Another Russian sportsman needed just one step on for the medal. Arsalan Baldanov took the fourth place yielding the bronze medal to the sportsman from Holland.

Ksenia Petrova has a golden medal in her collection – she took it at the world championships two years ago. Besides, she won the silver medal in the team competition at the Olympic Games last year.

The Archery World Championship finishes today, October 23.
