Representatives of 11 countries to take part in sports programming championship

The first international sports programming tournament will bring together more than 300 people. It will be hosted by the capital of Chechnya, TASS reports. The "Code of the World" competition will begin on May, 24. Representatives of 11 countries will compete for victory.

The best will be determined in two categories: algorithmic and product programming. They will be supplemented by computer sports competitions and quadcopter races. The prize fund of the competition reaches $43,000.

President of the Federation of Sports Programming, Deputy Head of the Ministry of Digital Development of the Russian Federation Maxim Parshin called the tournament "the beginning of a great story." He has no doubt that in the near future sports programming will become a national intellectual and one of the most popular sports in Russia.

The Sports Programming Federation is the organizer of the tournament.
