Russia to hold annually international robot battle championship

The International Robot Battle Championship will be held in Russia for the first time in 2023, RIA Novosti reports. The Government of the Russian Federation supported the proposal of the Ministry of Digital Development, now the tournament will be held every year.

The Ministry of Digital Development will be responsible for preparing the project and holding the championship. 

The Promobot V.4 robot, developed and assembled by specialists from the Russian company Promobot, began teaching children at an Indian school in January. The robot teaches several disciplines for students in New Delhi

Russian manufacturers noted that such robots are already used in 43 countries - from the USA to Australia. They work as consultants, airport employees, guides.
