Established in 1722, city of Nizhny Tagil will celebrate 300 years anniversary in 5 years, and Yekaterinburg is going to turn 300 years young one year later, in 2023. Vladimir Putin has signed a decree that orders to celebrate these two anniversaries at the State level, TASS informs.

Administrations of both cities count on federal government officials. Assisting in the preparation process means financial and informational help. Officials of Yekaterinburg have shared that they are looking forward to get the finding for yet another subway line in the city.

It is worth mentioning that preparations for the anniversary in Nizhny Tagil have already started. Less-known city is the second largest populated area in Urals region.
