Compatriots in Jordan organize international reader contest

The Coordinating Council of Compatriots Organizations in Jordan has announced the acceptance of works for the third international reader’s competition called I Remember, I'm Proud, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War. Winners will be determined in four age categories (from 6 years old), the results will be announced on May 1, according to the council’s Facebook page.

Everyone who is willing to participate need to record a video with them reading a prose or poetry work. The competition is open to children and adolescents, regardless of place of residence.

The application must indicate the name, surname, age and country of residence of a contestant. Videos are accepted until April 1 for readers from Jordan and until April 25 for readers from other countries. The organizers will announce the winners of the international competition on May 1.

The last year’s reader contest in Jordan was dedicated to the anniversary of the liberation of Leningrad from the fascist siege.
