08.09.2016

“The Slavic Fairy Tale” Film Festival, at which films made by Bulgarian, Russian, American and Palestinian cinematographers were present, finished in Bulgaria yesterday. The award ceremony took place in Sofia yesterday.

A documentary “Diplomacy of High Risk” by film director Svetlana Bablevskaya, the Russkiy Mir Foundation production, won a special prize of the festival. It is to be recalled that two Russian films made with the participation of the Russkiy Mir Foundation won the festival grand prix named Bulgarian Rose in the “Documentaries” nomination in 2015.

Bulgaria has hosted the 4th Slavic fairy Tale Film Festival this year. One of the main goals of the festival is the promotion of Russian films as well as of the Russian language and culture throughout Bulgaria.
