Russkiy Mir Foundation Awards Mother Language Experts in Primorsky Krai

Students of different countries participated in celebration of the International Mother Language Day celebrated at the Far Eastern Federal University. The largest university of the Far East has 2500 foreign students from 49 countries, as well as students from various regions of Russia.  

Students of the Center of Russian Language and Culture, Institute of Oriental Studies, School of Engineering participated in the festival. Teams of students competed in singing, dancing, and recitation; many of them performed in national costumes. All of participants represented their cultures and languages. Many demonstrated good command of Russian language.

After the concert, mane students and teachers participated in the round table “Russian Language of the XXI Century: Active Search or It’s Complicated?” Students from Vladivostok schools participated in a quiz to test their knowledge of the Mother language. Winners were awarded by the Russkiy Mir Foundation and the Far East Federal University.
