15.04.2013

The 52nd anniversary of the World Space Exploration and Aeronautics Day was celebrated on April 12 in the Russkiy Mir Cabinet under the branch of Pushkin Russian Language Institute in Hanoi. The celebrations were attended by students from the specialized schools Nguyen Xue and Hanoi – Amsterdam.

The event participants saw a documentary about the first manned space flight by Yuri Gagarin and they were told about a short but outstanding life of the world's first astronaut. In addition, people recalled the joint flight of Soviet astronaut Viktor Gorbatko and Vietnamese space researcher Pham Tuang.

The official part was followed by a mini concert given by the schoolchildren, where they sang Russian songs.
