Russian Center in Varna Celebrates Birthday

The first Russian Center, which opened in Bulgaria in the Varna Free University “Chernorizets Hrabar” celebrates its birthday today. The center opened a year ago.

The celebration will comprise a number of events – a display of a documentary about the opening of the Russian Center, an exhibition marking the 150th anniversary of Russia’s outstanding playwright Anton Chekhov, a display and discussion of a lecture on Russia’s Foreign Policy in XXI Century given by Executive Director of the Russkiy Mir Foundation at the opening ceremony etc. Other initiatives include seminars, presentation of students’ research projects, and a concert at a Big Hall of Radio Varna.
