Russian President Wraps up Working Visit to Germany

Vladimir Putin has completed a two-day working visit to Germany, the Kremlin press service reports. The President began his second day in Germany with a wreath-laying ceremony in memory of the prisoners of Ahlem concentration camp, who died during the final days of World War II.

Later, Mr Putin and Ms Merkel opened the Russian pavilion at the Hannover Messe 2013 and toured the exhibition stands. The Russian President and German Federal Chancellor held a joint news conference at the end of the visit.
